Close by is the Visitors Bureau of the "Parque Nacional da Peneda - Geres". Here you may collect all necessary information relating to the only Portuguese national park, its fauna and flora, population and history.

The campground itself is prepared for tents and campers. Here you will find bathhouses, mini-mart, children's playground, common room, and snack bar. You can rent bicycles, practice archery and orientation; hike with a guide or alone. There is a shop selling regional products and outdoor gear. There is also a multi-sport complex for tennis and futsal.
